It was a great weekend for Mark Richt and the staff at Georgia as they landed 2 recruiting commitments. On Friday Sterling Bailey, a DE/OLB who is 6'5 270lbs, became the 8th commitment for Georgia. Bailey projects to play OLB in Todd Grantham's 3-4 defense. He is a Top 10-20 recruit in the state of Georgia and had 25 scholarship offers to choose from. Two weeks ago highly touted QB recruit Christian LeMay made the Dawgs his choice. Shortly after he made that decision he was on the phone with Sterling Bailey recruiting him to be a teammate. Today, they added speed demon Justin Scott-Wesley. Scott-Wesley committed shortly after winning the state championship in the 100-meter and 200-meter dash. Scott-Wesley will be a Wide Receiver/Offensive Utility Player for Georgia.

Did LeMay really "commit"? I heard he just named his "leader" or something silly like that.
It appears they're making a more concerted effort to keep the Georgia kids in state after kinda getting embarrassed last year. Too bad they're not getting Isaiah Crowell, though.
LeMay is as committed as any other kid who has "verbally committed".
"“We thank them all for honoring Christian with a scholarship offer to their school and tell them, ‘as you may have heard, Christian plans to attend UGA.’ We have wished them well in finding the best quarterback that fits their program...Christian has all intentions and plans of signing a letter-of-intent with Georgia and being a Bulldog. We love the situation at Georgia.”- Rev Stacy LeMay
“The term leader equals pretty much commitment. I’m committed to Georgia and I’m recruiting Georgia kids to come with me and play. So the only reason I didn’t say commitment is in case something crazy happens like there’s a Heisman Trophy winner at Georgia. Then I might not want to be there and sit for three years behind [Aaron] Murray. If that happens or if [offensive coordinator and quarterbacks] Coach [Mike] Bobo or Coach Richt were to leave. There are just a whole lot of things that would have to happen for me to not fulfill my leader/verbal commitment.”- Christian LeMay
