Logan Gray to remain a Bulldog

The University of Georgia announced today that Logan Gray would remain at Georgia and not transfer to another school. Huge collective sign of relief from Bulldog nation. Gray is currently listed as #2 on the QB depth chart behind Redshirt Freshman Aaron Murray. The decision to stay was a tough decision for Logan as I'm sure he feels that he can play QB for a Division 1 football program. By staying Logan gives Georgia depth and will add versatility to the team in terms of the ability to play both QB and WR. Aaron Murray will be taking his first snaps at the college level so you have to believe that at some point he will struggle. Having Logan as his back-up is a much better option then having incoming true Freshman Hutson Mason who has not even taken a practice snap at the college level. Logan mentioned that in addition to making the most out of his opportunity at QB he also wants to take some reps at Wide Receiver. I'm all for this as Georgia has a very talented WR corps but it's not very deep. This is good news for Georgia fans and I look forward to watching Logan play this fall for the Dawgs.
